BIBLE
We teach the Bible is God’s written revelation to mankind in which He has made Himself and His salvation known. Every word of both the Old and New Testaments alone is inspired and without error in the original copies. It is the complete and infallible Word of God, sufficient for life and godliness, and our only rule for all matters of faith and practice.

GOD
We teach there is only one living and true God, eternally existing in three distinct persons— Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each uncreated and coequal in being, power, and glory, having all the attributes of Deity. God is the Sovereign Creator, Saviour, and Judge who upholds and governs all things according to His will for His own glory.

CREATION
We teach God created all things, both visible and invisible, in six literal days by direct act and not by a process of evolution. He created mankind male and female, two distinct but complementary sexes/genders biologically defined and determined at conception; and established marriage between a man and a woman only, according to His design.

MANKIND
We teach God created mankind in His own image and likeness, but that in Adam’s sin of disobedience mankind lost his innocence, inherited a sinful nature, became alienated from God, and subject to His wrath. Every person is corrupted by sin in the totality of their being (total depravity) and totally unable to please God or remedy their lost condition apart from divine grace, being destined to eternal, conscious punishment.

JESUS CHRIST
We teach Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God who became truly man without ceasing to be truly God when He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and died a sacrificial death on the cross to pay the penalty of sin in the place of sinners. He rose physically from the dead, and, in His resurrection body, ascended to the right hand of God the Father in heaven where He intercedes for all who believe in Him and will personally return in power and glory.

SALVATION
We teach salvation is wholly of God by grace based on the redeeming work of Jesus Christ and not based on any human work or merit. It is accomplished by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God when the repentant sinner believes in the gospel. All who trust in Christ for salvation are instantly delivered from the penalty and ruling power of sin, and will one day be delivered from the very presence of sin, being kept eternally secure in Christ by the power of God whose work of grace produces righteous living and good works as the evidence and fruit of salvation.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We teach the Holy Spirit is the supernatural and sovereign Agent in regeneration, that at the moment of salvation He baptizes all believers into the spiritual body of Christ, which is the universal church, and seals them for the future day of redemption. He indwells every believer, sanctifying, teaching, and empowering them for service.

THE CHURCH
We teach the universal Church is the Body of Christ who is the Head of the church, that it began on the Day of Pentecost, and is comprised of all who believe in Christ for eternal life having been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by building its members up in the faith through the means of grace, and by communicating and advancing the gospel to the entire world. The local Church is autonomous, free from any external authority or control, and led/ruled, not by majority of opinion, but by a plurality of elders with Christ being the Chief Shepherd and supreme authority. Elders are spiritually qualified men, appointed to shepherd and oversee the local church as trustworthy stewards of God.

We teach every member of the church has received a spiritual gift according to the sovereign will of the Holy Spirit which is to be exercised for the good of the local church; and that the miraculous and revelatory gifts were given for the apostolic era to confirm the church as a true work of God and to authenticate the message of Christ’s apostles and prophets.

FINAL STATE
We teach in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; the saved to the resurrection of eternal life with Christ in the new heaven and the new earth, and the unsaved to the resurrection of eternal punishment.
